Call for Action from South Asian Parliamentarian Workshop on Climate Change

Parliament members and experts from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka assembled for 'South Asian Parliamentarian Workshop on Climate Change' in Kathmandu on 4 April 2012. The workshop was organized by Ministry of Environment, Government of Nepal, Climate Action Network South Asia and Clean Energy Nepal in a backdrop of international Conference of Mountain Countries on Climate change. The parliamentarians and the experts concluded in one voice on the need to augment efforts at various level of Governance complimented by regional cooperation to protect vulnerable poor of South Asia and agreed on 10 point 'Call for Action from South Asian Parliamentarian Workshop on Climate Change'
